The Optos camera produces wide-angle photographs of the fundus, which are useful for documenting visible tumour change over time. The depth of focus is impressive as shown by the image below, with optic disc, pre-equatorial melanoma and asteroid bodies all in focus.


Fluorescein angiography is also possible.
