Vitreoretinal lymphoma

This is a highly-malignant infiltration of the retina and vitreous gel by lymphoma cells.


Clinical features

  • Blurred vision
  • Vitreous cells
  • Subretinal creamy deposits
  • Perivasculitis
  • Atrophic RPE lesions

Most patients develop lymphoma of the brain, which has a poor prognosis.
